Waterwise Botanicals Succulent Celebration

I was lucky enough to be able to attend the Celebration!
AND
What a great celebration it was.
All the speakers and Demos were very informative.
While I was there, I went shopping for a few plants I needed. There is no place better for buying succulents than the growing grounds in Northern San Diego County.
Did a bit of shopping for some cute items also.
I was lucky enough to help out with the succulent landscape demonstration by the amazing
Laura Eubanks of Design for Serenity.
Laura talked for over an hour to a large crowd. Covering items such as plant placement, boulders, driftwood, foundation plants. She than demonstrated placement and planting of succulent tapestry plants.
Once she stopped talking all us volunteers planted the rest of the tapestry plants. 3 hours later and well over another 100 tapestry plans, we stopped for the day. Sunday Laura and the volunteers will place all the top dressing rocks and finish off the display.
Spent some time shopping thru all the vendor tents. Lot of great items for the succulent lover.
